Oh, well..., what can I say here? I am a professional chemical engineer graduated in 1984 from: The University for Chemical Technology in Prague (VSCHT)
My specialisation was Chemical Technology of Rare & Radioactive Elements.  Somehow I stayed with the radioactive part (with an emphasis on the protection from it) for all these years since 1984 and have worked in:
Research in solvent extraction of uranium and thorium,
 Radiation-induced polymers' modification,

Sterilisation of food and medical equipment,
 Personal & industrial dosimetry,
11 years in mining & processing of radioactive ores,

Now - a consultant providing independent radiation protection and occupational hygiene advice to mining and other industries.
I am a member of:Australasian Radiation Protection Society (ARPS) CRCPD - Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors (USA) South Pacific Environmental Radioactivity Association (SPERA)
My current interests include: Technically Enhanced Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (TENORM), radiation effects and the validity of the Linear No Threshold hypothesis, and radiation protection legislation worldwide.
Please let me know if I can be of any help in the following:
Radiation monitoring and radiation protection advice
Development of a radiation management plan

Design and audit of a radiation monitoring program
Regulatory compliance advice
Advice on transport and trade in commodities containign NORM
Noise measurement and management
